Pharmastrip wound closure strips
OscarTech UK supplies Pharmastrip adhesive wound closure strips to NHS trusts, private hospitals, clinics and pharmacies. Every strip is sterile and CE marked (Class Is), with a 5-year shelf life, and each pouch holds two cards of strips.
Non-woven or fabric?
Pharmastrip non-woven strips are waterproof: a polyurethane top layer over a spun-lace non-woven layer. Six sizes from 3mm x 75mm to 25mm x 127mm.
Pharmastrip Fabric strips are woven polyamide fabric. Six sizes from 4mm x 38mm to 26mm x 102mm.
Senvok non-invasive wound closure device
The Senvok device uses adhesive pads either side of the wound, joined by adjustable zip-tie straps that draw the wound edges together without needles or sutures. It comes in a non-woven version and polyurethane versions with two or three straps, for wounds up to 3cm or 5cm long, and each pack includes cleaning wipes and cotton swabs. Senvok devices are sterile and CE marked (Class Is); they are not part of the NHS Supply Chain framework.

Are the strips sterile?
Yes. Every pouch is sterile, and the strips are CE marked as Class Is medical devices.
What is the shelf life?
Five years.
How many strips are in a pouch?
It depends on the size: from 4 strips per pouch on the 26mm fabric strip up to 10 on the 3mm x 75mm, 6mm x 100mm and 6.4mm x 102mm sizes. Each product lists strips per card, per pouch and pouches per box.
What is the Senvok wound closure device?
A non-invasive alternative to strips for slightly larger cuts: adhesive pads either side of the wound are pulled together with adjustable zip-tie straps. The 1- and 2-strap versions suit wounds up to 3cm long, the 3-strap version up to 5cm.
