Phaco choppers are fine-tipped instruments used alongside the phaco probe to split the lens nucleus into smaller fragments during phacoemulsification cataract surgery, reducing the ultrasound energy and time needed to remove the lens. The range covers established patterns including Nagahara, Chang, Koch, Kammann, Dodick-Kammann, Rosen and Masket, most available in either stainless steel or titanium.
